I decided to start SomeWhereInBetween productions when I noticed a lack of non-pretentious art spaces in Liverpool. The irony of course is that as we hurtle towards 2008 and the city of culture status, I hear about more grass root art spaces being squeezed out. Art spaces out, community spaces out, expensive unnecessary flats in.

I only had 2/3 weeks to put on the first exhibition at Patrick’s bar but with the help and support of a talented daughter (Jeanie) and a good friend (Ben Zuhlcke) we opened.

from dec till Feb somewhere in between was Exhibiting from Patricks Bar on victoria ST, now know as the Foundation, i sadly moved due to greed on behalf of the owner. we relocated at Gingers juice Bar 449 Smithdown Road and opened with 'In transition' in March 2006.
